To contribute in disseminating the importance of engineering and science, the SENER Foundation is likewise open to collaboration with universities, companies and whatsoever institutions show an interest.

The patronage of the Foundation, chaired by Enrique de Sendagorta, has the presence of celebrities in the engineering world as Álvaro Giménez Cañete, former Director General of INTA (National Institute for Air Space Technology) who is currently a research worker at the CSIC (Superior Council of Scientific Research) and at the European Space Agency, José María Bastero, Rector of the University of Navarra, and Rafael Izquierdo Bartolomé, Professor for Transport at the Madrid Polytechnic University, among others.
